This is a rare Pair of WHITE MILK GLASS Dolphin Candlesticks, by Westmoreland, circa 1940. This is a decorative and useful fine antique pair of early American pressed glass (EAPG) items from the early to mid 20th century. The pair is beautifully modeled and decorated, and in great condition.
These candlesticks are opaque white, and the dolphin form well is presented in relief with considerable detail. They have a lot of opalescence and ?fire?, and crisp finish, indicating these are from early molds.
The undersides of the bases are unmarked on the base, which is typical for items of this period.
The candlesticks each measure approximately 3.7" Wide X 4.3" Tall. The pair weighs 14.7 Oz.
The Pair of WHITE MILK GLASS Dolphin Candlesticks is in excellent condition with no repairs or restorations.
