(1860 - 1941) Polish pianist, composer and statesman, established himself as an interpreter of Chopin, Liszt and Beethoven. A fine A.M.Q.S., 1p. 8vo., [n.p.], Sept. 20, 1914, four bars from Manru, II Act, beautifully penned in brown ink on the printed stationery of Warner Hotel, New Zealand. Moderate toning and offsetting, otherwise good. Sold with a handsome, period portrait of the pianist, 7"" x 9"" sepia, by Harbrook studios. A handsome pair for display!
