-This ornate medal from the Zembo Temple Shriners is held within a 5.75" x 3" leather pouch with four folding flaps and a snap closure. The medal itself is stunning, featuring enamel work in rich red, blue, green, and brilliant white. The reverse of the medal is marked "Robbins Co/ Attleboro/ Mass" and the same is gold lettered on the interior of the leather pouch. The medal and hanger measure 4.5" long. The gold plating on the medal has worn away in some places, and there is very slight damage to the red enamel surrounding the gold lettering: "Zembo Temple / Harrisburg". The ribbon hanger is green with yellow and red details. A beautiful piece with a rich history. The Zembo Temple was founded October 12, 1904 in Harrisburg, PA and still serves the surrounding communities today. The origin of the name Zembo is a mystery, but the word itself translates from ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics to "Water Spirit". A vibrant piece. HKA#64317
