Hornaday, with author’s compliments, P. T. Barnum, Waldemere, Bridgeport, Conn. Nov. 24, 1885.” In good to very good condition, with inside front cover chipped and stained from bookplate removal, surface wear and rubbing to covers, heavy sunning and wear to slightly loose spine, tape repair to torn inside edge of signed page, and several lines of publisher’s information blacked out, as well as felt tip marks to bottom of pages. All writing is bold and unaffected by any of the book’s flaws. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
