A richly glazed Owens Pottery vase, crafted circa 1895-1905, showcasing the company's mastery of applied decoration. The form flares gently from the base to the rim, finished in a deep brown and amber glaze with a lustrous surface. Encircling the midsection is an intricate applied band of interlaced scrolls and stylized floral motifs in mustard and teal, set against the dark ground and framed with raised beading. The interior is glazed in a warm amber tone, and the base shows characteristic age crackling consistent with Owens production. A fine example of American art pottery from one of the most innovative Ohio potteries of the late 19th century.
