<B>Overstreet Price Guide #1 Second Printing (Bob Overstreet, 1970) Condition: FN.</B></I> This is the blue-cover second printing of the very first <B>Comic Book Price Guide</B></I>... who could have dreamed back in 1970 that this guide to collectibles would itself become a collectible? After the first printing sold out, this second printing was released later the same year, with Bob Overstreet and his family collating and stapling every copy! That hand-binding meant that copies didn't stand up to wear and tear very well, and aside from some wear to the spine and a little rubbing and soiling to the cover, this is a nice copy indeed. The prices are, of course, an entertaining read for any comic lover of today -- <B>Detective Comics</B></I> #27 was priced at all of $275 in Mint condition ("top of Guide" is $450,000 today), and <B>Action Comics</B></I> #1 was priced at all of $300 in Mint condition. Don't miss out on the book that helped make comic fandom what it is today.
