<B>Oval Salt Print Portrait of Robert E. Lee,</B></I> 8" x 10" including original mat, imprinted "C. R. Rees & Co., Richmond, Va." below image. A splendid unpublished postwar likeness of Lee while he was serving as president of Washington College. The verso carries the pencilled date "1867". Overall browning with areas of stains and minor chipping.
