Finely done elegantly designed oval Persian Tabriz. Size 3.3 X 5 feet, made of fine quality baby lamb's wool pile on cotton foundation, all natural vegetable dye, incorporating a finely done floral pattern on a black background; fascinating teardrop central medallion; and contrasted beautifully by an intricately done floral border. A very rare and hard to find rug, hand woven in Tabriz, Iran by a master Persian carpet weaver.
