<td width="100%">
This is an outstanding Castleford style set of
a lidded teapot, small jug, and lidded sugar. It
is white stoneware with a relief-molded
design of cherubs. It is outlined in a bright
green, WHICH IS RARE. It is in extraordinary
condition. I bought this year's ago at the
auction of a collector of early English ceramics. A note in the teapot said it was indeed Castleford, although other English potteries did make some of this style of ceramics.
The teapot is mint, the sugar has one broken
round decoration at the top, and there is a tiny
ding to the jug's edge. The size given above is
for the teapot. The sugar is approximately 6"
wide by 5" high, and the jug is approximately
5.5" wide by 4.75" high. The lids are separate,
not hinged. It is unusual to find a complete set
of three pieces and in such excellent condition
AND with green accents.
Shipping and insurance to be paid by the
buyer. I take personal checks, money orders,
MC/Visa and Paypal. Please email me any questions and thank you for looking.
