Outstanding World War I Imperial German Army DWM 1917 Dated Luger Rig

This is a beautiful example of a late WWI 1917 dated DWM Luger rig that is complete with two magazines and an attractive 1916 dated Luger holster. It is correctly stamped "1917" over the chamber area with the "DWM" logo on the front toggle, with the correct three "Crown/Script" letter proofs next to the Imperial Eagle firing proof mark, on the barrel extension, frame and various small parts. It has the standard fixed sights, safety and extractor markings. As noted it is complete with two renumbered matching, later all blued, wood base magazines that are marked on the bases "9107/d and 9107/d/+". This exceptional Luger pistol is complete with an excellent light brown leather holster that is marked with an unreadable makers mark over "1916/BERLIN".

Very fine with 90% plus of the blue finish remaining overall, with 50% of the straw colors on the small parts. The grips are excellent with nice sharp checkering with a few minor handling marks. The holster is also very fine, a nice brown color overall with minor scuffing on the front of the holster with nice tight stitching.
