Excellent. The rifle retains 99% plus of the original blue finish overall. The hammer, trigger, lever and buttplate retain at least 98% of the muted case colors. The stock and forearm are excellent and retain 98% of the oil finish; wear is limited to a few scattered handling and storage marks. The action is in excellent mechanical condition.
