Outstanding WWII Nazi duv 44 Code G43 Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle with Two Extra Magazines and Pou
This is an example of a late WWII G43 semi-automatic rifle as produced by Berlin-Lubecker (duv) fitted with the correct WWII ZF4 scope. The receiver is a rough forged/machined version that is marked on the left side with an "eagle/ 214 Waffenamt" proof ahead of the serial number, a Nazi firing proof followed by "G. 43 duv 44." with a inverted "V / ." above the 43. It was manufactured with the single bolt guide, and the bolt carrier has the locking latch on the right side, and the hollow cocking knob on the left side, with the unthreaded muzzle. The rifle is fitted with correct ZF4 mount that is marked with an "eagle 135" proofmark and numbered "6285". The locking lever correctly marked "fest" and "lose". It has an original ZF4 scope marked "GW ZF4 dow triangle / 3247" with leather lens covers. Hooded raised ramp front sight and military tangent rear sight graduated from 100-1200 meters. The stock is the laminated version and the handguard is the early red resin "Bakelite" version manufactured by DUROFOL. There are two eagle proofs on the right side of the butt and one in the pistol grip area. It is complete with a cleaning rod, brown leather sling and double magazine pouch with two extra magazines. Original 389 mount with original scope covers, booklet and spare parts in the buttstock.
BBL: 22 inch round
Stock: laminated
Gauge: 8 mm
Finish: phosphate
Grips:
Serial Number: 2685f
Condition: Excellent. The rifle retains at least 95% original phosphate finish with some minor thinning on high edges. The stock and handguard are excellent, with the exception of a couple of minor shallow gouges on the buttstock and one on the handguard, there are a few scattered minor dings and scratches. One of the gouges goes across one of the proofs on the stock, otherwise the proofs are readable. The scope is in excellent condition, however the optics are cloudy. The lens caps are excellent. The sling is good with some moderate wear. The pouch is very good. The markings are highlighted in white and remain crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
