Outstanding WWII German G43 (ac44) Code Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle with ZF K 43/1 Scope
This is an excellent example of a Walther produced G43 semi-automatic (ZFK 43/1) sniper rifle. The left side of the receiver is marked with the Nazi Eagle proof, Waffenamt proof and Eagle/Swastika firing proof ahead of "G43" followed by the serial number and a stamped "ac / 44" code indicating manufacture at the Walther plant. The serial number is also present on the left side of the bolt carrier under the cocking lever. The cocking knob is on the left side and the safety lever is on the rear of the receiver. The action cover is the stamped version with the sliding dust cover. This rifle has the side mounted quick release scope mount and ZFK43/1 sniper scope. The scope has a wooden plug for the optic end and a leather lens cover for the object end. It has the standard hooded blade front sight with the standard military rear tangent sight graduated to 1,200 meters. The stock is the correct WWII pistol grip laminated version with a cupped steel buttplate with the buttstock compartment, while the handguard is a very unusual old post-war, one-piece walnut version. The left side of the stock has a crisp "eagle swastika / 059" proof and the pistol grip area has an Eagle Waffenamt proof with the matching serial number on the underside and a black leather sling. The left side of the magazine is marked "aye", "eagle / WaA843" and 43". The rifle is complete with a cleaning rod and muzzle cover.

The scope is excellent with almost all of the original finish and clear optics. All markings are highlighted in white and remain crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent.
