Blade and hammer notch sights, with the left side of frame marked "STARR ARMS Co. NEW. YORK." and the right "STARR'S PATENT JAN. 10. 1856.". Matching numbers on the barrel, frame, cylinder and hammer, with single letter inspection proofs on several parts. Smooth one piece grips, with a "CPL" cartouche on either side at the bottom, and "JPD" on the top right side.

Condition: Excellent, with 90% plus of the bright original high polish blue finish, showing wear on the edges and scattered spotting and handling marks overall. The barrel and cylinder show light scratches. Bright vivid case colors are 95% intact, visible on the hammer, trigger and loading lever. Grips are also excellent, with sharp cartouches, scattered light storage dings. Mechanically excellent.
