Outstanding Pre-War Mauser Bolt Action Single Shot Target Rifle with E. Kohler Marked Scope
This single shot rifle features ramp blade front sight (missing hood) and an adjustable military style rear sight graduated from 30 to 200 meters and is equipped with a Kohler 2 1/2x64 scope mounted on the grooved receiver. The barrel from the breech 10" forward is grooved for rear sight adjusting and is numbered on the right side 1 to 7. The right side of the barrel is marked "D.R.P.D.R.G.M.", the left side is marked "PATRONE 22 LONG RIFLE" with the serial number and "459" with three crown proofs. The Mauser banner logo is marked on top of the action and the left side is marked with the one line address, serial number and crown proof. Mounted with a deluxe one piece checkered pistol grip stock with a grip cap, black checkered Mauser buttplate and sling swivels. The bottom of the stock directly behind the grip has an attractive (Possibly shooting club or event) sticker marked in German around the outer edge (a small amount peeled off), and the Mauser logo is stamped into the right side of the buttstock.

Condition: Excellent. The rifle retains 98% original finish with some wear on the muzzle and a few very small areas of minor oxidation (concentrated in one area). The stock is also excellent with some minor dents and dings, and sharp checkering. The scope is excellent with a couple minor scratches and clear optics. The markings are crisp. The action is excellent.
