Outstanding Japanese Nagoya Arsenal Type 97 Sniper Rifle with Monopod, Dust Cover and Scope
Blade and folding ladder sights, with the matching number on the front barrel band and monopod secured to the midband. An unaltered mum is present on the receiver ring over the "9/ 7/ Type" model markings, with the left side of the ring marked with the serial number and the Nagoya crest. Matching number on the bolt, with the monopod numbered "146". Mounted to the left side of the receiver is a 2.5x scope, marked "TO KO/ No 1902/ J.E.S." on top, "6363" on the left side and "63" on the locking block, fitted with a rubber eyecup. Smooth pistol grip stock, with an untranslated single figure on the underside of the grip, sling swivels and a cupped metal buttplate.

Condition: Excellent, with 95% plus of the original blue finish, with scattered areas of brown patina, handling marks, bright edge wear and a few small patches of pitting on the barrel and receiver. The stock is very fine, with a pair of oval patches visible on the left side of the buttstock, mild pressure dents and scratches overall. The scope tube shows light external wear, a few light scratches on the eye cup, and the optics are slightly hazy. Mechanically excellent.
