Excellent. The rifle is all original and retains nearly 95% of the original blue finish. The barrel has nearly all of the blue finish intact and the markings are crisp. The bolt, loading gate, rear sight and tang sight retain nearly all of the bright blue finish. The case colors on the forearm cap and receiver remain 85% intact and have traces of silvering on contact points and there is some very minor age spotting on the right side of the receiver. The stock and forearm are both excellent and retains 95% of the high polish piano finish with only a few scattered and very minor handling marks. This is an outstanding example of a very early production casehardened frame Winchester Deluxe Model 1894 Lever Action rifle with many special order features. It would be hard to improve on this exceptional Model 1894 rifle.
