Manufactured in Belgium in 1966, this superposed shotgun features dual ivory bead sights on a matte vent rib, chokes marked full/full with ejectors and marked for 3" magnum shells. The receiver, trigger guard, release lever and a 2" wedge on each side of the top barrel are nicely floral vine engraved with a punch dot background. The right side of the receiver has three gold ducks in flight in a marsh scene and gold wire bordering, the left side has three pheasants in flight in a field scene with gold wire bordering and there is a gold quail on the bottom. Both sides of the receiver are signed by the master engraver, "M GEYSEN". Gold single trigger and tang mounted manual safety/selector. The forearm and pistol grip stock are extra fancy highly figured walnut, with a high gloss finish and fine checkering with multi point border on the forearm and fancy border on the wrist. The forearm latch assembly has an engraved feather design and the buttstock is fitted with a solid Decelerator recoil pad. LOP 14 3/8". Complete with a Browning leather hard takedown case.
BBL: 30 inch vent rib
Stock: walnut
Gauge: 12

Serial Number: 5285s6
Condition: Excellent. The shotgun retains 99% plus original blue finish and virtually all of the gold inlay, with a small area on the left side, upper barrel where the finish has flaked, and a small area of wear ahead of the forearm. The wood is also excellent with only light handling marks and sharp checkering. Sharp markings and engraving. Mechanically excellent. With the exception of some tape residue on the outside of the case and internal staining, it is excellent.
