Outstanding Engraved Signed  ARNO  Gold Inlaid Belgian Browning Midas Grade Skeet Superposed 20 Gaug
Manufactured in Belgium in 1970, this superposed shotgun features dual ivory bead sights on a matte vent rib, chokes marked skeet/skeet with ejectors and marked for 2 3/4 inch shells. The receiver, trigger guard, release lever and a 2 inch wedge on each side of the top barrel are nicely floral scroll engraved with a punch dot background. The right side of the receiver has three gold ducks in flight in a marsh scene and gold wire bordering, the left side has three pheasants in flight in a field scene with gold wire bordering and there is a gold quail on the bottom. Both sides of the receiver are signed by the Master engraver, "ARNO". Gold single trigger and tang mounted manual safety/selector. The forearm and pistol grip stock are extra fancy highly figured walnut, with a high gloss finish and fine checkering with fancy borders. The forearm latch assembly has an engraved feather design and the buttstock is fitted with a vented Browning recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 1/2 inches. Complete with a Browning instruction manual and two snap caps.

Condition: Excellent plus. The shotgun retains virtually all of the original finish with light overall handling marks. All of the gold inlay remains. The wood is excellent with all of the original high gloss finish, overall light handling marks and very crisp checkering. The mechanics are excellent.
