Manufactured in 1905. The top of the barrel has the two line Hartford address, "(BISLEY MODEL) 45 COLT." on the left side and the two line, three patent dates are marked on the left side of the frame followed by the circled Rampant Colt. The matching serial number is marked on the frame, trigger guard and back strap with the assembly number "3543" on the loading gate. Blue finish with casehardened frame and hammer, blade front and frame notch rear sights, and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top. The accompanying factory letter verifies the caliber, barrel length, blue finish, grips as "Not Listed" and that it was shipped as 1 of 10 to Simmons Hardware Co. St. Louis, Missouri on March 8, 1905. Colt manufactured approximately 44,350 Bisley revolvers from 1894 to 1915.

Excellent. The revolver retains 95% original blue finish with some edge wear, light cylinder drag line and some thinning on the grip straps. The frame and hammer retain 97% original bright case colors with some silvering on the high points. The grips are also excellent with a few light scuffs on the bottom and very crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
