Iconic Captain Kangaroo screen-worn red jacket with grey slacks. Bob Keeshan began wearing this red jacket in 1971, after years dressed in a dark blue suit. Fire-engine red single-breasted jacket was custom made for Keeshan by Chipp of New York and features deep ''kangaroo pouch'' pockets. Dated label is sewn into an interior pocket and typed ''Robert Keeshan / 6/13/74''. Features brass buttons, charcoal grey lining and white braided cord trim along the edges of lapels and pockets. Approximate size 40. Additional grey wool slacks with wardrobe ''CK'' handwritten inside (approximate size 36). Includes wardrobe tag that reads ''CK IV''. Light stain to lapel, else near fine.
