Exceptional late production Remington Model 51 pistol in scarce, 380 caliber. Produced from 1918 to 1934, fixed sights on the 15-groove slide, marked on top with the two line address and "PATENTS PENDING" markings. Frame is marked "Remington/ TRADE MARK" on the right, with an anchor and "ET" on the trigger guard, niter blue safety and magazine catch, grip safety and checkered "REMINGTON/ UMC" grips. With the original matching hinged lid black factory box with proper end and side labels, original paper label inside the lid is complete and intact, instruction sheet and a cleaning rod.

Condition: Excellent, with 99% of the original blue finish, showing very minor edge or high spot wear and the front edges of the slide. Grips are excellent, with a few mild pressure dents. Box is near excellent with some minor scuffing on the edges and corners. With the two front corners hiding an old reglue, but nicely done. The end and side labels are 95% intact with the label inside the lid is 97%. Mechanically excellent.
