Outlaw Frank James Walnut Walking Stick. 34.5” long, with a turned handle (possibly a later addition), and copper ferrule, in fine condition. The provenance accompanying the walking stick indicates that it once belonged to notorious outlaw Frank James and later by his only son, Robert. The walking stick was purchased in 1986 from Frank James’ family along with a trunk of papers and photographs which descended from Frank James through his only son Robert. The walking stick is sold with a wealth of provenance including a certificate of authenticity from R & R Enterprises, a letter of provenance from Margaret Duckworth Bade, great niece of Frank James, a certification from handwriting expert Charles Hamilton, and a letter of provenance from Gary Hendershott who originally purchased the walking stick from the James’ family. A chance to own a personal object from one of the West’s “baddest” outlaws.

Shipping: Bats, Clubs, Sticks, Swords, Rif (view shipping information)
