<B>Ottawa, ON- The Bank of Ottawa</B></I> $10 June 1, 1906 Ch. # 565-20-12<BR> This highly successful bank was established in 1874 and soon dominated banking in that city. After World War I, an attractive offer from the Bank of Nova Scotia sealed its fate, with the merger taking place in 1919. All early notes from this institution are very rare, and even the later issues are seldom obtainable, especially in grades higher than Very Good.
