Original 10 x 8 silver gelatin photograph of Otis Spann and James Cotton rehearsing in Muddy Waters's basement in Chicago in February 1965, taken by Raeburn Flerlage. Reverse bears a "Raeburn Flerlage / 'Live' Shots / Chicago" credit stamp and pencil caption. In fine condition, with a light horizontal bend. Raeburn Flerlage (1915-2002) was a photographer known for capturing the blues and folk scenes in 1960s Chicago, documenting the likes of Howlin’ Wolf, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Odetta, John Coltrane, and Bob Dylan.
