Midnight blue silk dinner jacket with a small mosaic design pattern, lined in black silk, with black piping on the lapels and pockets, worn on screen by a member of the Motown band Otis Day and The Knights in the iconic 1978 comedy Animal House. These jackets are seen when Otis Day and The Knights, 'the #1 Party Band in America,' sing 'Shama Lama Ding Dong.' In fine condition. Though best remembered for launching John Belushi's career into superstardom, Animal House also featured the then-fictional band 'Otis Day and The Knights,' which proved so popular that the actor who played Otis Day, DeWayne Jessie, formed a real band under the name.
