Two TLSs on personal letterhead, one dated March 13, 1948 regarding his chairingthe Arts and Amusements Division at Sydenham Hospital, and the other November 21, 1953, regarding a possible revival, each signed “Oscar.” The second letter, to Frank Mandel, reads in part: “Don Walker—remember the orchestrator?—has an idea about the revival of ‘May Wine.’ I don’t know what it is but he says he has a lot of interesting angles to submit to us. At his request I sent him the only copy of ‘May Wine’ that I could find in my files, but he says it is a script that is so prehistoric that he doesn’t even believe that we went into rehearsal with it.” In overall fine condition.
