Airmail cover with a stamped cachet commemorating the first airmail flight to the Canal Zone, 6.5 x 3.5, 1929, signed in ink “Orville Wright.” The cover has also been addressed in a different hand and is postmarked “Cristobal Canal Zone, Feb. 10, 1929.” In very good condition, with light soiling, spotting, and wrinkling, slight smudging to cachet, removed postage stamps, and postmark to first name of signature.
