Airport dedication cover with a cachet honoring the dedication of Nova Scotia’s airport on August 28, 1931, signed above the cachet in fountain pen, “Orville Wright” above a stamp which reads, “The first to fly,” and also signed by the mayor of Halifax, G. E. Ritchie, and the first pilot to land a plane at the airport. Uniform mild toning, cancellation and owner’s stamps to reverse, as well as a colorful Nova Scotia label, otherwise fine condition.
