<B>Orville Wright Signed Check</B></I> "<I>Orville Wright</B></I>". One page, 8.5" x 3", Dayton, Ohio, March 9, 1917. This lovely display features the signed check and a copy of the famous photograph from the "first flight" on December 17, 1903. The check was made out to a Mabul Beck for $15.00. The Wright brothers are, of course, famous for being the first to produce an airplane that maintained flight. While there have been controversies about who was exactly the progenitor of the flying machine, they are the most iconic and well recognized. The check is in very fine condition; cancellation punches only obscure the letter "O"; the photo has some areas darkened with what appears to be pen ink. Framed to an overall size of 12.25" x 12.25". <BR><BR><B>Important notice:
