Typed memo line in lower left reads, “Rental costume, Steve Allen Show 6/9.” Matted and framed with the original receipt from the Western Costume Company, where Welles rented a refurbished turban and a period dagger, and a photo of Welles to an overall size of 21 x 14.5. In fine condition, with cancellation holes to upper portion and some light show-through from stamps on reverse. On the program, Welles performed a dramatic monologue from Shakespeare's Othello.
