Ornate and large bore double action pinfire pistol, circa about 1860-70, signed F. De Vriondo y Ca En Eibar. The revolver measures 10-3/4" overall with 5-1/4" heavy round to octagon barrel, showing deep 4 groove rifling and approximately 12mm or .45 cal. The pistol has a 6-shot cylinder, is nicely silver inlaid with checkered ebonized type hardwood grips. The trigger shows a number 36 with no other proof marks. Approximately40-60% bright blue remains, drifting to patina with some light beginning erosion and pinprick pitting. The action is working but the trigger not quite returning all the way. The ejector rod and small parts are allretained; the front sight has been reduced slightly and one screw slightly marred. An impressive large pinfire with fancy decorations. Est.: $800-$1,600

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
