Original watercolor signed lower right E. S. Paxson measuring approximately 9 1/2” x 7” portraying Indian brave with bear tooth necklace. The paper shows some slight staining and minor discoloration and needs simple conservation. Edgar Paxson was a favorite son of Montana and was closely associated with Charlie Russell and other great Western painters of the early 1900s.
