Original watercolor by Frederic Remington of Northwest mounted policeman (Mountie) approx. 17” by 10”, signed lower right and inscribed “To my friend Davis 1893”. Davis was a friend and fellow illustrator and there was at least one other presentation which was also sold by Little John’s in the duMont collection featuring a Vaquero on horseback and similar inscription which fetched $160,000 at auction, Lot #90, January 22, 2008. Condition is near fine showing just some slight normal aging, professionally framed and matted. A slight cleaning or conservation could be in order but does not require it. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
