Original photograph mounted on photographers card showing bearded gentleman with city marshals badge of Mexico, Missouri pinned on his left lapel and a lodge pin at the center of his collar. The card shows an advertisement for “Graham” (photographer) southeast corner of public square Mexico, Missouri. The image measures 5 ½” in height by 4” in width and is in good condition with some minor spotting and normal aging and tatters to the edges of the card. From the gentleman’s dress we would date the photograph at about 1880 plus or minus 10 years. Mexico, Missouri is right in the heart of the homeland of Frank and Jesse James. Est.: $500-$1,000.
