Original percussion pistol by Henry Deringer of pocket size, approx. .41 caliber, 2-3/8” barrel, 7-groove rifled, 5-3/4” overall, full stocked to muzzle, German silver engraved mounts with deluxe cap box in butt. TheDeringer remains in very good original condition showing 80-90% of its original brown on barrel with traces of striping visible. The hammer, breech, show considerable original satin case hardening,the metal surfaces show a dirty patina and would clean. The stocks are very good plus with just some slight edge wear from carry, good sharp checkering, some minor scratches. The Deringer shows correct markings at breech and tang and “P” proof, typical engraved mounts that are all correct and show the pineapple finial on triggerguard.
