Original pen and ink drawing with white gouache highlights signed within the foreground “Corbould”. This artist was known to produce advertisements and art works for Buffalo Bill’s Wild West show and this original depiction shows the construction and building of a grandstand and Indian village. Titled on lower left of drawing reads left to right; “View of the camp-taken from alongside of the tent of Buck Taylor, the king of cowboys, scaffolding of grandstand in distance to the right. The tent on the left is “Redshirts”(the senior chief). The tent on right of drawing is Buffalo Bills. On bottom right corner of Buck Taylor’s Tent.” the artwork measures approximately 8 ½” in height by 20 ½” with beautifully framed and matted in very good condition for its age almost mint this is a rare firsthand recording of the backstage scenes of the Indian village at the Buffalo Bills Wild West show.
