(MGM, 1939 & 1967) Fantastic color portrait of Clark Gable as "Rhett Butler" accomplished in acrylic on board. For the 1967 re-release of GWTW, the four main characters, "Ashley", "Melanie", "Scarlett" and "Rhett" were painted by this artist for MGM, so that lithographs could be reproduced and exhibited in theaters around the country. This is one of the original paintings from which the lithographs were made. Measures 16 in. x 18 in. Some sub-surface foxing, invisible except on very close inspection; overall, in fine condition with bright, vivid colors. Housed in a custom gold frame.
