Original oil painting on canvas signed lower left Doxy and entitled on plaque mounted on front of frame “Inspiration” with homage to W.R. Leigh by the artist written on back of frame. Don Doxy is a fine painter who livesin Utah and is well recognized for his beautiful artworks which hang in many major Scottsdale and Western galleries. This particular painting has everything the Western collector loves, Cowboys, Mexicancarousel horse, the art of W.R. Leigh in the background, guns, holsters, Steiff teddy bear, Indian rug, old lantern, American flag, horseshoe and many other decorative effects woven masterfully into this outstandingcomposition. The artwork measures 30” x 32” and is nicely framed. We are so impressed by this painting that we used it in our advertising. Est.: $4,000-$8,000.
