Original oil painting on canvas showing early American Indian braves in canoe signed Oliver Kemp (1877-1934). Approx. 24-3/8” by 54-3/8”. Needs slight conservation and cleaning. No frame. Similar to Huron Waters" by same artist sold" 7/28/2001 for $35,750 at auction. Oliver Kemp worked at Saturday Evening Post and for other important publishing houses. He was described as painting more cover designs for the Saturday Evening Post than any other artist, including Norman Rockwell. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
