Original oil painting on canvas backed on board signed Lower Ctr., Arthur Fuller 1922. Arthur D. Fuller was born 1889 died 1966. He was educated at the Harvard University, the Fenway school of illustration in Boston andthe Chicago Academy of Fine Arts. This well-credentialed artist illustrated for The Saturday Evening Post at its Highpoint along with Colliers, Cosmopolitan, McCall’s and many other magazines. He was a member of theAnimal Art Society, The Salmagundi Club, The Westport Artists and The Society of Illustrators in New York. This painting is titled on Kennedy galleries sticker on the reverse “Back Room of Bar” and shows theirinventory and control numbers. The scene portrays a Western bar room and is nicely accomplished.
