Original oil painting on board signed lower left “E.I. Couse” measuring approx 9-3/4” by 12” portraying Indian in canoe with impressionistic style. Consigned from the Estate of Norma J. Plummer, noted SouthernCalifornia collector. E.I. Couse needs no introduction to western art collectors as he is among the most sought after of Taos artists being elected the first president of their society. His major works have fetchedalmost a million dollars at auction and he was born in 1866 and died in 1936. The condition is good with no problems just needing professional light cleaning. Buyer pays actual costs of packing, materials, shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
