Original oil painting on artist board signed lower left Ernest Burke and entitled “Evening Serenade” dated 1961. Original Petersen gallery sticker still on back and from the estate of Robert Petersen. Ernest Burke was a popular Western artist in the early 1960s and was fairly well known for his bronzes. This painting is very amusing and humorous in his composition and is quite well done. Estimate $1,000-$2,000 .
