Original oil on canvas signed lower left “E.S. Paxon” (Edgar Paxon) dated 1900. The painting measures 16 x 12 and portrays a prong horn antelope. There is an area of damage between the horns which we willprofessionally restore for buyer. Otherwise condition is very good. Edgar S. Paxon circa 1852-1919 was one of the western frontiers most famous artists who preceded Frederick Remington and Charles Russel arriving inMontana in 1877.
