Original oil on canvas showing pointing setter signed lower right Gustave Muss. Arnott. The painting measures approximately 20-1/2”x21” and in period framed and ornate pre-war frame. The condition is nearexcellent with no problems. Appears to have been freshly restored and backed. Considered to be one of the very best European Wildlife Artists of the early 20th century this was Margie Petersen’s favorite dog painting andwe would date the painting about 1915. From the Robert E.
