Original Watercolor by A. J. Merrill, visual measures 8'' x 11'', written in pen on the back reads ''Arthur Merrill 1885-1973 Taos.Santa Fe, N.M. B. St. Louis, Mo. D. Santa Fe, N.Mex April 21, 1973,'' however the information I found said that he was born in Canada, Arthur J. Merrill (1885-1973) was born in Canada, and began his working life as a Geologist, initially for the Canadian Geological Survey, then later, in private industry. As a youngster, he had always loved art, and had shown strong indications of a burgeoning talent, which was encouraged by his Grandmother (who lived in St. Louis). It wasn't until much later, however, that he was able to pursue his dreams of becoming an artist.

*** If an item is materially different than was described by the Seller, Buyer shall have 48 hours from the date the property is received to notify the Seller. After the 48 hour period all items are considered as is, without recourse. No buyers premium or shipping will be re-embursed on items returned for any reason.
*** By bidding in this auction you are entering a binding legal contract to pay for your items within 1 week of the close of the auction. Non payment will result in a non pay warning. Items not paid for upon the non pay warning, will be relisted for resale within 10 days. You represent that you are over the age of 18 and can enter into legal contracts. Any Bidder that has never purchased from us, may be asked for credit card information prior to Approval To Bid.
*** The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser, regardless of the time the bids were placed. In the event of a tie between bidders, the auctioneer shall have the sole and final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and resell the article in dispute. If any dispute arises after sale, the Company's sale record shall be conclusive in all respects.

All shipping is at the buyers expense, and will be determined after each auction, based on actual shipping charges to designated shipping address, supplied by the buyer. Buyer will pay actual shipping costs plus insurance & handling. We require all items to be insured. Return shipping of items to us must be preauthorized and is at the buyers expense.
