Original State of Texas arrest warrant from El Paso County dated May 13, 1895, for defendant Jim Beverley accused of “unlawfully keeping and exhibiting a gaming table” and served on him by legendary Deputy Sheriff W.J. TenEyck who counter signed the warrant indicating Beverley was arrested on the 13th and placed under bond. Warrant is in overall excellent condition; TenEyck worked for famous Texas Sheriff F.B. Simmons and thistime period of service was during one of the most violent periods in El Paso city history including the time of the likes of John Wesley Hardin, John Selman, Jeff Milton and George Scarborough. A great piece of oldwest history. Est.: $350-$700.
