Original Warner Brothers script from the acclaimed 1938 drama starring Bette Davis and Henry Fonda, ''Jezebel.'' The film portrays Davis as ''Julie Marsden'' the headstrong Southern belle whose un-lady-like behavior during the Antebellum period costs her the man she loves. Filmed at the height of her career, the movie won Davis an Academy Award for Best Actress. 101pp. continuity script is for the Portuguese-subtitled version of the film, which was presumably then aired in Brazilian theaters and around the world. With Portuguese subtitles translated beneath the English lines of dialogue in the script. Cover depicts the iconic Warner Brothers logo with ''Jezebel'' printed in black type against a red and gilt background. Some wear on the edges but interior pages are clean with extensive handwritten notes and corrections in pencil running throughout. Measures 8.5'' x 14'' with a brass fastener at top. ''Bette Davis'' is written in pencil to the manila folder script is housed in. Very good overall.
