Limited Edition Original ''Rhythm of the Land'' Pendleton Blanket presented by Northwest Pendleton and Spirit Wrestler Gallery by artist Susan A. Point, woven by Pendleton Woolen Mills, measures 64'' x 80'', bold red and black in color, comes with original tags and in original box, 82% wool and 18% cotton, comes with informational cards FYI: ''This blanket grew from a design created for a memorial ceremony for Susan Point's mother. The imagery is inspired by the many rafting trips that Susan and her family have made to the Taku River with The River League (an eco-tourism company based in Vancouver B.C.).'' Coast Salish (Musqueam) (1952- ) Susan began making limited edition prints on her kitchen table in 1981 while working as a legal secretary. She received several early commissions, which established her reputation for innovative proposals and for completing projects on time, on budget and at the highest level. She took courses in silver, casting and carving, all of which led to monumental sculptures in mixed media, and she was the first Northwest Coast artist to work in glass. She continues to release a number of print editions each year, but her focus has been on commissioned sculpture.''
