This original animation cel is from the Nickelodeon TV show Fairly Odd Parents. Timmy Turner is a short, buck-toothed 10-year-old boy with a pink cap who lives in Dimmsdale, a small suburban town with his dim-witted parents. His life is constantly miserable, due to the fact that his parents are rarely home and he is babysat by an incredibly evil teenager, Vicky, and that, generally, no one understands him (as indicated by the show's theme song). But everything changes when he receives two fairy parents: Cosmo and his wife, Wanda and later, their son Poof. Timmy learns that his fairy godparents are capable of granting him any wish he wants within certain limits. However, Timmy's immature nature causes him to sometimes ask for wishes that unintentionally result in disaster, and he and his fairy parents and fairy brother must find a way to "unwish" the wish. · Original Production Animated Cel · Overall Size of Cel: 10 1/2" x 12 1/2" · Very good Condition This is an original hand-painted cel set-up used in the production of an episode of "Fairly Odd Parents." Each one-of-a-kind set-up represents a slight change in position of the characters. When individually photographed and projected in rapid succession, the images appear to move.To create production cels, the original animator's drawing is transferred onto an acetate cel (by hand-inking and/or photo copying). The cel is then hand-painted on the reverse side. The cel received by the winning bidder may be every so slightly different from the one in the auction photos. The cel is ready to be matted and framed. The animator's notations are at the bottom of the cel. There is some paint fade to Wanda's outline.
